"We Come From The Trees" is the debut solo release from Science Project's Grimes. It explores a personal relationship with the rhythms of Eastern Indonesia through bass music. The album pieces bass, roots and tribal rhythms into a future/ancient sound, rich in archival field recordings from Buru island in the Maluku Province from which the term "Epkitan" originates.
